Kybella is an FDA-approved (deoxycholic acid) injection that can be used to permanently destroy adipose tissue (fat cells) below the chin, commonly known as “double chin.”

2-4 treatments are typically recommended depending on the amount of adipose tissue in the treated area.

Kybella can also be used for fat reduction in other small fatty bulges such as the front of underarms, abdominal area, or fat around the knee.
