Kybella Treatment
Kybella is an FDA-approved (deoxycholic acid) injection that can be used to permanently destroy adipose tissue (fat cells) below the chin, commonly known as “double chin.”
Kybella can also be used for fat reduction in other small fatty bulges such as the front of underarms, abdominal area or fat around the knee.
Excess fat accumulation is influenced by multiple factors and may affect adult women and men of different ages and weights. Both the aging process and genetics contribute to submental fullness and other areas of stubborn fat and can be resistant to diet and exercise.
2-4 treatments is typically recommended depending on the amount of adipose tissue in the treated area.
